This Week at BACC

= Youth Sledding Party was held last night. Approximately twenty teens met at the church building for sledding , pizza-making and a movie ("Prince Caspian"). Fun!

= There will not be a Thursday evening Bible study this week due to the holiday. Happy New Year!

= The Annual Congregation Business Meeting will be held on Sunday January 11th after the morning worship service. Annual reports, election of Elders and Deacons, review and approval of the proposed 2009 budget and other business will be conducted.

= The women of the congregation will be volunteering at BACN on Thursday January 8th and Thursday January 22nd. See Lisa Ruff for details.

This Week at BACC

= A Christmas Eve Service will be held on Wednesday December 24th at 7:00 pm. A skit entitled "An Evening in Bethlehem" will be featured that includes live animals as well as congregational singing, special music, communion service, and a "Silent Night" candlelight departure. The public is invited to attend this free program.

= Practice for the "An Evening in Bethlehem" cast will be held Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.

= Women in Ministry Meeting to be held this Tuesday December 16th at 7 pm. All ladies are welcome.

= Men's Annual Night Out to be held this Tuesday December 16th. Meet at the church building at 5 pm to drive together to Traverse City for dinner & Christmas shopping. All men are welcome.

= The Worship team will be rehearsing at 5:30 pm on Thursday. Anyone who is interested may participate.

= Adult Bible Study will be held at the church building at 7:00 pm on Thursday evening. This study is open to the public.

Christmas Eve Service

"An Evening in Bethlehem" Christmas Eve Service will be held for the community at the BACC building on Wednesday December 24th at 7 pm. Our service will include a dramatic reenactment of the first Christmas with live animals, histroic foods, angels and keepsakes. There will also be special music, scripture reading and a candlelit sing of Silent Night.

This Week at BACC

Y Our sympathies go out to Don & Lisa Ruff & their family this week as they mourn the passing of Don's father. A small ceremony is being held today in St. John's for the family and close friends.

=Worship Team rehearsal will be held at 5:30 pm Thursday evening. Anyone who is interested may participate.

=Adult Bible Study will be held at the church building at 7:00 pm on Thursday evening. This is open to any adults. Topic of study is a comparison of world religions.

=There will be a Men's Breakfast at the church building on Saturday morning from 8 am to about 10 am. The book on Christian leadership "They Smell Like Sheep" by Dr. Lynn Anderson will be our guide for discussion. All men are invited to attend.
